National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA)
Mission Statement – “The National Ayurvedic Medical Association is a national organization representing the Ayurvedic profession in The United States of America. Its mission is to preserve, protect, improve and promote the philosophy, knowledge, science and practice of Ayurveda for the benefit of humanity.”
Amy serves on the standards committee for Ayurvedic Yoga Therapists at the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). This committee is working hard to create the educational guidelines for a person that could call him or herself a Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist.
