Food for the Soul May, 2016

Event Phone: 909-338-9850

Friday mornings from 9:15 a.m- 10:15 a.m (PST),  May 13, 20, 27- 2016

Yoga Teachers and spiritual aspirants are constantly giving to humanity.  In this giving, it is hoped that we also receive.  But sometimes the well becomes dry, and we ourselves need spiritual nourishment and community.  Our community can light our internal fire, give us ideas for class themes, make us feel lighter in our skin, and provide us with support.  “Food for the Soul” is a class designed to help us as teachers feel supported and nourished.

Each week we will cover a topic that will inspire.  We might talk about a verse from the Rg Veda, or discuss asana course sequencing, or the therapeutic application of a pranayama technique, or anything that you request!  Although the teachings will come from the perspective of T. Krishnamacharya, all yoga and spiritual traditions are welcome to join us.  It is always interesting to compare and contrast methods and theory.

We will finish each “Food for the Soul” class with some breathing, meditation and bhavana (visualization) together.

Online with Amy, streaming live. This event can be watched live and/or at a later time for up to 30  days following the event. A link of the recording will be sent within 2 hours of event.  All participants will receive the video links to watch or review this course online.
