Examining Your Relationship with Loved Ones
From the Optimal State of Living and Amy Wheeler, Ph.D.
Stress in our relationships is one of the biggest factors that change our relationship with food. This is especially true when the stress is coming from the people in your life that you love. Relationships are difficult at times. If we learn how to set boundaries, communicate well and practice self-care, we are much more likely to keep our stress and our relationship with food in a balanced place. This workshop will help you to examine your “triggers” for eating and learn how to manage the outcome.
This workshop is 3-hours long. It is appropriate for anyone who is experiencing suffering around food, no matter what level of fitness. It is also designed to educate yoga teachers, yoga therapists, fitness professionals, health and lifestyle coaches, physical therapists and medical professionals so that they can better help their clients. You are welcome to take any 1 of the four Yoga Therapy for Emotional Eating workshops in the series, or join us for all 4!
