Asana Techniques-Vinyasa Krama: Step by Step Instruction of Asanas (Yogic Postures)
Each yogic posture has a specific sequence of how to get into the posture safely, the directions of how to stay in the posture and breathe properly and then how to get out of the posture with ease. This is called “Vinyasa Krama” of the asana. This workshop will cover many Vinyasa Kramas for popular poses, including breathing instructions. We will also cover the functional significance of each yoga posture and how the subtle anatomy of the body is impacted by each posture we review.
This workshop is great for yoga practitioners, yoga teachers, and yoga therapists who would like to learn more about yogic postures and how we can use them for general health, well being and healing. We welcome anyone who is interested in this topic.
